New User Registration

User registration allows you to make use of several features in the Library.

  • You may submit items as candidates for inclusion in the Library
  • You may request email notifications when new items are added in topics of particular interest to you (NOTE: Not yet implemented in test version)
  • You may email your colleagues about items of interest in the Library, using our "Email to a friend" feature

In order to register, we require several pieces of information, and you may elect to provide us with several optional pieces of information.

  • Name is required. This is your name as you like it to appear, e.g. "Jane Q. Public"
  • Email is required. This is your email address. This is the address at which we will correspond with you when, for example, you submit an item to the Library.
  • Password is required. You will need this password to access the site. Passwords must be at least six characters long, and must contain at least one letter and one number or punctuation mark (!@#$%^&*()-_=+,.<>?)
  • Organization is optional. This is your organization name, e.g. Anytown Community Schools.
  • City is optional.
  • State is optional.
  • Postcode is optional.

We will not send you any email, other than automated messages in response to things that you do (e.g. request lost passwords or submit items). We will not disclose your information to any other organizations. This information is collected solely to allow us to communicate with you, and to help us better understand our Library community.
